What do you do when your friend group takes sides after a falling out?

I had a serious falling out with someone in my friend group and now mutual friends are choosing sides. Some have stopped talking to me entirely. I feel like I am losing my whole social world over one conflict. How do you navigate this?

Don't campaign for people to choose your side. It almost always backfires. Let people make their own decisions and let your behavior speak for itself. The friends worth keeping will find their way back to you.

This is an opportunity to see who your real friends actually are. The ones who abandon you over one conflict were probably not as close as they seemed. As painful as this is, it is also clarifying.
