Terms of Use — MindsQuery

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use MindsQuery. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
You must provide accurate information when creating your account
You may not create more than one account per person
You may not transfer your account to another person
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MindsQuery only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of privacy
Post content that promotes discrimination, hatred, or violence against any person or group
Post sexually explicit content involving minors under any circumstances
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
Post spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional materials
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or any other system
Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from MindsQuery without permission
Post content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights
Manipulate voting or other community features through fake accounts or automated means
Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

4. Content and Your Rights

You retain ownership of the content you post on MindsQuery. By posting content, you grant MindsQuery a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and improving the Service.

You represent that you have the right to post any content you submit and that your content does not violate the rights of any third party.

5. Anonymous Posting

MindsQuery allows anonymous posting as a feature to encourage honest questions. However, anonymous posting does not exempt you from these Terms. Your account remains associated with anonymous content you post, and we may disclose your identity in response to valid legal requests or to protect safety.

6. Community Guidelines

In addition to these Terms, all users are expected to follow MindsQuery's Community Guidelines. These guidelines provide more specific guidance on what constitutes acceptable content and behavior on our platform. The Community Guidelines are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Moderation and Enforcement

MindsQuery reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, with or without notice. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms or that engage in behavior that is harmful to our community.

We are not obligated to monitor all content posted on the platform but we take reports of violations seriously and will investigate and act as appropriate.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

MindsQuery is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Content on MindsQuery is provided by community members and does not constitute professional advice. Information related to mental health, relationships, or medical matters should not replace consultation with qualified professionals.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MindsQuery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Intellectual Property

The MindsQuery name, logo, design, and all content created by MindsQuery (excluding user-generated content) are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our intellectual property without our prior written permission.

11. Third-Party Services

MindsQuery uses third-party services including Google AdSense for advertising. Your use of MindsQuery is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the site or sending an email. Your continued use of MindsQuery after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using MindsQuery at any time. You may delete your account through your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration.
