Community Guidelines
Last updated: March 2026
MindsQuery is built on the belief that honest questions deserve thoughtful answers. These guidelines exist to keep our community a safe, respectful, and genuinely helpful place for everyone.
Asking Good Questions
- Be specific and honest about your situation ÔÇö the more context you provide the better answers you will receive
- Use a clear title that summarizes your question accurately
- Choose the most relevant category and add appropriate tags
- Search before posting to avoid duplicate questions
- Anonymous posting is available for sensitive topics ÔÇö use it if it helps you ask more honestly
Writing Good Answers
- Answer from genuine experience or knowledge ÔÇö not just to have something to say
- Be empathetic ÔÇö remember there is a real person with a real problem behind every question
- Be honest even when the honest answer is uncomfortable
- Avoid judgment ÔÇö people ask questions here precisely because they do not want to be judged
- If you disagree with other answers, engage constructively not dismissively
- Recommend professional help when appropriate (therapy, medical advice) without making people feel dismissed

Sensitive Topics
MindsQuery covers sensitive topics including mental health, relationships, and personal struggles. We ask that all members approach these topics with extra care.
