Why do I keep falling for unavailable people?
I always end up attracted to people who are either emotionally unavailable, already in relationships, or live far away. I am starting to think I subconsciously choose people I can't fully have. Why?

This is often a defense mechanism. By choosing unavailable people you protect yourself from true intimacy and the vulnerability that comes with it.

It can also be related to low self-worth. Subconsciously you might feel you don't deserve someone fully available.
