Does confidence actually make you more attractive?

People always say confidence is attractive but I have always assumed this is just something people say to make less conventionally attractive people feel better. Is there actual truth to it or is physical appearance always going to be the primary factor in attraction?

Yes and the research backs it up. Confidence changes body language, voice tone, eye contact, and how you occupy space. These nonverbal signals are processed very quickly by others and significantly affect perceived attractiveness.

Confidence also changes how you interact with people. You make others feel seen and interesting rather than being focused on managing your own anxiety. That quality of attention is genuinely attractive.
