Is it possible to question your sexuality after years of identifying one way?

I am 34 and have always identified as straight. But lately I have been experiencing feelings toward women that I cannot explain away. The idea of questioning my sexuality at this point in my life feels destabilizing and confusing. Is it normal to question this late?

Completely normal. Sexual identity can evolve throughout life. Many people discover or acknowledge aspects of their sexuality in their 30s 40s or later. There is no deadline on self-understanding.

Labels are tools for self-understanding not permanent commitments. You are allowed to explore what these feelings mean for you at whatever pace feels right. You do not need to have answers immediately.
