What is the difference between love and attachment?
I am not sure if I love my partner or if I am just deeply attached to them and scared of being alone. How can I tell the difference between genuine love and attachment or dependency?

Love wants the best for the other person even if it means letting them go. Attachment is about your own need to have them near you.

Ask yourself: do you love who they are or do you love how they make you feel? The answer reveals a lot.
