How do you get closure when your ex refuses to give you answers?

My ex ended things very suddenly with almost no explanation. I have tried asking why but they won't give me a real answer. Not knowing the reason is making it so much harder to heal. How do you find closure when the other person won't give it to you?

Closure is something you create for yourself, not something someone else gives you. Waiting for your ex to provide it puts your healing in their hands. At some point you have to decide to close the chapter yourself.

Often the real reason people don't give explanations is because it would make them look bad. The lack of explanation is itself information about who they are.
